Today in literacy we were learning about instruction text and it was good. Have you learned about instructional text? When we went to our table we did magic tricks. And we worked in partners and did magic tricks such has “jack attack”.
Today we completed a maths booklet all on mathematical questions some hard and some easy. For some the calculator was useful for some questions we worked out mentally. It was a fantastic challenge and hopefully we will have got most answers right fingers crossed.

Today in music we had a really great time. Me and my best friend Hannah worked in a group and we did all about space and it was called our space jorney it was a really cool and a great task.

Today in maths we did patterns. Here is a example of a question we did we start with 4 yellow counters and 2 black counters. What would be the colour of the 27th counter? Try and answer this question.
We have been doing about problems in maths. Some have been really tricky but some are easy.
And today we looked at this question:every year a person gets their age in candles eg.when 1 years old 1 candle.
Altogether how many candles would the person have blown out at 75 years old.

We learnt something really interesting in assembly today.
Did you know that there is a celebration called Candlemas?
It is 40 days after Christmas and it tells you if it is spring or winter.
If it is sunny it is still winter if it is dull and cloudy it is spring. cool huh?
In outdoor games we have been doing football with Jo.We have done mini football matches,training,dribbling,passes and fun games.

Today we did big write which was fun. First we highlighted a text with three different colours pink, yellow, orange and blue. Finally we carried on with this story called Howl,we had a candle on while we wrote. It was fabulous.
