The longest poem ever… :)
We have been writing rhyming couplets for a “Sick” poem - inspired by Shel Silverstein’s work.
Using post-it notes we all contributed to a really, really long poem, it spilled over onto the wall and then down onto the floor!

Why not go to our wiki and add in your own rhyming couplet to a poem we are sharing with EVERYONE!

What a great poem and a great way of laying it out. Well done.
I hope I can get my class to write some couplets like this this wee, but we have a lot of Christmas things going on…
My ears are dim from party din,
My temper it is getting thin.
My nose is blue, red are my cheeks,
I will be off for two whole weeks.
Running out of things to rhyme,
remember it is Christmas time!

OOps! Our “Sick” poems are on our blog - but we will try and move the rhyming couplets over to your wiki on Wednesday.
What an amazing poetry trail in your picture - sticky notes are a terrific idea Priestic6ers!
