Counts and Local Timelines

This is Mr O’Brien’s first blog with the Year 6 children and they have been really good in teaching me how to use it.

In Literacy this week we have been reading the story of Dracula. We have been looking at the characters in detail and yesterday we did hotseating where Abbi played the character of Lucy Westenra and Mr Barrett was Professor Van Helsing.

In ICT we produced a timeline of the history of Sutton dating back to 1086 to 2002. It was very interesting and we found out lots and lots of fascinating facts.

Did you know that St Mary’s Church is a Norman building and was built in the 12th Century?
